Food & Drink Frequently Asked Questions

  1. Ashton Lodge provides all catering and bar facilities. It is not possible to bring in any external catering or beverage suppliers. No food & drink can be brought into the venue throughout the event.
  2. Ashton Lodge has no minimum guest numbers, but we do require a minimum spend for the Event Food Menu. Your contract will specify your agreed minimum food spend.
  3. All days between Christmas and New Year have a Saturday minimum spend rate, and New Years Eve incurs an additional £1,000 staff surcharge.
  4. Additional wines and bar tariffs are charged at the prevailing rate on the date of your final invoice and are therefore subject to change.
  5. We will endeavour to cater for any special dietary requirements listed in your confirmation of final details. However, we cannot absolutely guarantee the absence of certain food groups (including nuts and gluten) from our food or kitchens.
  6. Whilst we will always endeavour to seat your guests for your meal at a pre-arranged time, we cannot absolutely guarantee this.
  7. Our menu prices are based on you selecting 1 choice per course for all your guests, with the exception of vegetarians, vegans and guests with dietary requirements. If you would like to offer your guests a choice (Formal Menu only), there will be a supplementary charge per person per course (£3.50 per starter | £5 per main | £3.50 per dessert).
  8. When ordering canapes, 100% of your guests must be catered for.
  9. There are no facilities for guests to heat any baby food.
  10. The meals provided to suppliers are our chefs choice on the day.
  11. All prices include VAT throughout the menu.
